Medusa

Personal project exploring a contemporary interpretation of the iconic figure from Greek mythology. Rather than portraying her as a monstrous creature, I chose to emphasize her seductive and enigmatic nature by imagining a younger version of the character.

The project provided an opportunity to further develop my skills in Mari texturing, organic sculpting, and realistic human anatomy while experimenting with character look development.

Medusa was featured in 3DCreative Magazine's issues #113 and #114.

Following the project's release, I was invited by 3DTotal to write a brief tutorial outlining parts of my workflow and sharing some of the techniques used throughout the project. Although the original article is no longer available following the platform's transition, it was published under the title Making a Mythological Character.
