StatiCap is my client’s product, a non-rotating wheel cap for vehicles. I was in charge with the creation of a product video presentation for SEMA 2012. This one was a challenge since the SEMA show was only 3 months away after the project had a kickoff. I started from scratch. Couldn’t find any acceptable hiqh quality BMW 1 Series 3D models so I decided to model the cars myself to avoid possible render issues from the hazardous internet models. The project was basically finished in 2.5 months. The client was also very cooperative, he provided materials and references as scheduled so everything went as planned. Rendering was done on a rented Render Farm and this sped up the process a lot.
