A series of three automotive renders created as an exploration of different environment creation workflows. The vehicle was modeled from scratch and placed in three distinct settings: one using a stock backplate with minor adjustments, another combining plate extension and paintover techniques, and a third created through digital matte painting (DMP).
The project was also an opportunity to evaluate the trade-offs of stock backplates. Although they can save production time, they often come with limitations in terms of environmental control, lighting integration, and final image consistency.
